Supreme Court
This court is the highest and final appellate court for both civil and juvenile cases in the State.
Court of Appeals
This court’s jurisdiction varies by region as they serve the intermediate appeals from the trial courts in their respective district courts.
District Courts
This court has original jurisdiction for all civil actions over $200, divorce, juvenile matters, felony criminal matters, and title to land.
County Level Courts
This court has original jurisdiction over civil and criminal constitutional and statutory county courts, and statutory probate courts.
Justice & Municipal Courts
This court has jurisdiction over civil actions not more than $20,000, criminal misdemeanors punishable by fine only, and magistrate functions.
